Daniela's Journey
Daniela is from a small, remote indigenous community. For her parents, reaching the hospital is a daunting journey over five hours of travel on difficult roads. Because of this, and the fact that many children in their community looked just like Daniela, her parents didn’t believe medical care was necessary. When Daniela became unresponsive due to severe dehydration, her parents finally made the trip. By the time she arrived at the nutrition center, her condition was critical

Welcoming Twins: Babies 99 and 100 this year
Meet Layla and her twin boys, the 99th and 100th babies born this year in our community health program. Both babies arrived healthy, weighing about five pounds each.
